Our Mission

Our mission at Tacit Logistics Inc. is simple: to create more owner operators in under served communities by managing their business operations. Operating as your remote COO, bookkeeper and HR manager allows our owners to work diligently on growing their business rather than working in them. Our team caters to company drivers looking to promote themselves to owner operators. We enhance the processes of small carriers, ensuring a smoother transition to fleet status.

The Beginning

Since opening our trailer doors in 2013, we’ve been committed to providing service of the highest quality, paying particular attention to working efficiently while keeping the lines of communication with our clients clear and concise.
We started small with one truck and a trailer traveling as far west as Las Vegas and as far east as Boston.
As our CEO traveled the nation hauling freight in his early 30’s, he learned there were many drivers amazed at his accomplishments and also wanted to promote themselves to owner operators. However they didn’t know where to start. He realized an opportunity to use trucking to enhance the lives of those in underprivileged communities similar to which he was born.

Fleet Experience

We manage fleets consisting of the following trailer types: Dry Vans, Refrigerated, Flatbeds, Step decks, Hot Shots and Conestogas. We’ve obtained contracts with Amazon, FEMA and assorted brokers to provide our carriers with consistent freight.
We implement strategies to reduce expenses when our carriers are hauling in the Appalachian or Rocky Mountains.
We operate proactively expecting downtime due to mechanical failures. Our carrier partners are provided with a quick solution in the event that one of their trucks is inoperable.
